Chontaduro Arepas

These arepitas are a quick delight, soft on the inside and crunchy on the outside, with the special touch of chontaduro.

🧾 Ingredients (makes approx. 4 small units)

  • 3 tablespoons of powdered chontaduro

  • 2 tablespoons of corn flour

  • 2 tablespoons of white cheese

  • 1 tablespoon of butter

  • ½ teaspoon of salt

  • 1 teaspoon of honey

🍳 Preparation

Step 1: Mix all ingredients until well combined.
Step 2: Knead until you get a homogeneous dough.
Step 3: Form the arepas to the desired size.
Step 4: Spread melted butter over the surface of each arepa.
Step 5: Cook in the air fryer at 350°F (175°C) for 15 minutes.
Step 6: Serve with crumbled white cheese on top.
