A comforting and nutritious recipe with a tropical flavor, perfect as a starter or light dinner.
📝 Ingredients
- 40 g of Chontaduro powder
- 1 spring onion (finely chopped)
- 1 clove of garlic
- 1 bell pepper (red or yellow)
- 1 glass of water
- 1 tablespoon of wheat flour
- 2 tablespoons of butter
- 200 ml of coconut milk
- Pepper, salt and paprika to taste
🍳 Preparation
- Blend the powdered chontaduro with the garlic and paprika until you obtain a homogeneous mixture.
- In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the wheat flour little by little, using a sieve, and mix well to avoid lumps.
- Add the blended mixture to the pan, stirring constantly.
- Add coconut milk, salt, pepper and paprika to taste.
- Simmer over low heat for 10 minutes, until thickened and the flavors blend.
- Serve hot, accompanied by whole wheat toast or croutons.
