Chontaduro Sauce: A sweet sauce with a herbal touch, perfect for accompanying meat, seafood, or vegetarian dishes. Its base of chontaduro jam and fresh herbs makes it a gourmet and natural option.

📝 Ingredients

  • 40 g of peach palm jam
  • Pepper to taste
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 2 basil leaves
  • 1 basil leaf

🍳 Preparation

  1. Prepare the chontaduro jam, making sure it is slightly fluid (not too thick).
  2. Add spices and herbs to taste: pepper, bay leaf, basil and mint.
  3. Bring the mixture to a simmer over medium heat and cook for 5 minutes, stirring constantly to blend the flavors.
  4. Remove from heat and strain through a sieve to obtain a smooth texture.
  5. You can sterilize them to preserve their freshness for longer.
